Normally about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We'll send you a gallery within 24 hours of your session, you can then choose your 3 favourites. Any extras, including your entire gallery, can be ordered here: https://www.aktaphotography.com/extra-photos

You'll receive your gallery same day, and then the edits can take up to 14 days from your submission.

We're far more interested in you than the characters you'd like to play so please bring a range of outfits that you love and that think represents you authentically. We will help you narrow it down on the day so bring too much. Small logos are easy to remove, big ones are harder. Some patterns work, others don't. No period outfits. Jackets are also a no, but we do love a shacket. Don't be afraid of making bold choices, if you're not sure, bring it a long and we'll help!

Roughly an hour with some buffer time to make sure you are happy with your takes!

An AktaReel is a showreel that allows you to demonstrate your best performance. For monologues: we'll spend an hour with you working on one monologue which we will then edit and give you a cinematic reel ready to send to casting agents or add to your portfolio! For duologues: we'll spend an hour with you working on one scene with your acting partner offscreen. This will give you a reel that demonstrates not only your ability to articulate but also react.

You get 6 takes of your chosen monologue. But don't worry, we're not Nazi's. If you mess up, we'll go again.

One monologue of your choice! We ask this be no longer than 3 minutes in runtime as your reel will be cut at the 3 minute mark max!

Your session will last around an hour. We ask you to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure we start on time!

We ask you to prepare 5 30 second pieces. These can be narrative and commercial if desired.

Yes, we ask you to prepare five 30 second pieces of your choosing. These can be excepts from books, TV, Film or video games for example.

Edits can take up to a month with the average turn around being 2 weeks.

With our Limitless Headshot Package, you get an initial classic headshot session, plus the opportunity to come back for a top-up session as often as you need, whenever you need, for 12 months. Simply book your first session as normal and then reach out to us via email to book in your following sessions.

For your first session, you will receive 3 images included in the booking. For the following sessions, you will receive 1 image included per booking.

You'll still have an hour with us! We will shoot 2 outfits and you will receive 1 retouched photo included per booking.

As much as we would love to have you, these sessions are made for when a change in appearance (different hair/braces off etc) calls for updated photos. We ask that you do not book this just to have another session, rather to update your images as needed for casting purposes. We reserve the right to refuse excessive booking if we feel the bookings are not in good faith.

TeamAkta is a monthly subscription that gives you access to everything we offer. For £58.99 per month, we will shoot your headshots every year, make a new AktaReel for you every year and give you unlimited free access to our self-tape studio and workshops. You also get access to all of us here at akta. We're on your side so if you ever need anyone in your corner, we're here to help.

Yup. But if you'd rather bring your own, that's okay too!

Because headshots and reels are included, no. But you can pause for up to three months if monies are tight.
